How is objectivism different from existentialism?

Existentialism is the doctrine that we are free to create our own values.
Objectivism is the doctrine that the sole measure of a person’s fitness, and therefore of his value, is his ability to compete in a strictly financial sense in an unregulated economy.
A corollary of objectivism is that the only legitimate values are those of a merchant.
Therefore, existentialism and objectivism are incompatible doctrines.
