Is revolution always political?

Absolutely not.

The most productive revolutions tend to be non-political—oftentimes deliberately so.

Political revolutions only replace one bureaucracy with another.

But technological, intellectual, and artistic revolutions eliminate bureaucracy, and they do so precisely because they are non-political.

After a revolution of the non-political and productive variety has occurred, the results tend to be commandeered by government bureaucrats, making it seem as though those revolutions were political in nature—when the opposite is the case.
